Inspired by several things, most predominantly a rewatch of "Jessica Jones" and Maygyver's episode 3.08 (Murdoc + Macgyver + Murdoc)
In 3.08 we see that Murdoc has figured out how to get Mac to do what he needs (even if Mac does snark at him a little). In that episode the situation only lasted a brief time.
But what if Murdoc decides to make Mac choose to become a willing hostage? He'd obviously have to threaten one (or more) of the team, and give Mac a choice [Basically "You come with me or they die].
How would Murdoc maintain the consistent threat on the team member? (Because you know Mac would find a way out once his family was safe.) And what does he do to Mac? Or make Mac do?
Most likely kind of dark, but however someone wants to write it...
